| Floating Pubquiz @ MLV Castor on Thursday Dec. 7 Dear members, The time has come to attend our yearly pubquiz, this time with a twist. We won’t let the weather get the best of us, so we decided to have our very first “floating” pubquiz, more than fitting for a maritime association right? This year’s charity is Niet Graag Een Lege Maag | (ngelm.nl) where we will donate so that kids can have a warm meal during these cold days. During holiday season, its always important to think about those who have less. Last year, we managed to raise 1371,20 EUR. This year we are aiming to gather even more! What can you expect? 4 rounds of questions, each including a different category, topic and each more fun than the last one. We will be handing out an answer sheet, where you and your group will be able to write the answer to the questions presented on the screen. Each round you will have the option to summon “the whisperer”, which will cost you money, but will give you the right answer. Of course, the proceedings will go to the charity mentioned above. Please remember to bring cash in these cases, but a machine will be provided also for pin payments. As always, no mobile phones will be allowed, cheating is not nice, definitely not part of the Chritmas spirit. What is there to win? We encourage you to bring gifts and contribute as the previous years. Gifts such as footballs, champagne, books, puzzles, football tickets are all very welcomed. Please note that it is preferred to be wearing a christmas sweater, and yes, we do prefer the cheesy and ugly ones. You are welcome from 18:30hrs, the pubquiz starts at 19:00hrs. As eating is cheating, we will have only finger food served.
